Ghana Wins Three Medals in Lagos Badminton Tourney Ghana won three medals in the just ended third edition of the Lagos international Badminton classics championship with Emmanuel Yaw Donkor picking bronze in the men’s singles for placing third. In the mixed doubles Stella Amasah and Emmanuel Yaw Donkor combined effectively to help Ghana to pick bronze. Host Nigeria, Egypt , Sri Lanka, Israel and India all won medals to pick their share of the twenty thousand dollars prize money of the eleven nation tournament. In all the national Badminton team has won thirteen medals in three separate major tournaments within one and half month. The President of the Ghana Badminton Association Evans Yeboah commended the entire team for their effort and the team spirit as well as dedication they displayed.
