Delta Force Case Adjourned August 8 A Kumasi Circuit Court, presided over by Madam Mary Nsenkyire has adjourned to the 8th of next month, the case involving the 13 persons standing trial for allegedly assaulting the Ashanti Regional Security Liaison Officer in Kumasi. In a statement, Madam Nsenkyire announced during the sitting today/yesterday that the Prosecuting Officer, Otchere Darko was on annual leave, therefore the case had to be adjourned. The Lead Counsel for the 13 accused persons, Lawyer Matthew Appiah expressed optimism that a ruling will be made on the next hearing, considering the ample time given to the Prosecutor to conduct further investigations into the case. All the 13 accused persons were present in Court for the hearing and appeared relieved with the adjournment, as they anticipated that the Court would rule on the matter Yesterday, Thursday, July 13.
