National Towing Levy Debate Rekindles Following Accident Involving Kotoko FC The fatal accident involving the Asante Kotoko football team has revived the debate on the national towing levy. The Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Roads and Transport and Member of Parliament for Ayensuano, Samuel Ayepay however, believes the national towing levy will not necessarily make the roads accidents free. Speaking on Radio Ghana's Current Affairs Program, "Behind The News", Mr. Ayepay said the roads will be safer if users make conscious effort to observe basic road safety regulations. He said the Kotoko accident though sad, could have been as a result of the disregard for simple traffic regulations.
