ECG Commits $120M For Strategic Energy Projects Across Country The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), in partnership with international donor organisations, has committed 120 million dollars to undertake strategic energy projects across the country. The completion of the projects would improve the operational efficiency of the ECG, enhance customer care, create system reliability and security towards the provision of a reliable supply of power to customers, for both domestic and industrial purposes. The Managing Director of ECG, Engineer Samuel Boakye Appiah, made this known at a meeting in Kumasi to brief the media on current power distribution issues as well as measures being undertaken to control power cuts among other challenges.
