Construction of James Town Harbour to begin this year- President Akufo-Addo Construction of the James Town Harbour, which was a campaign promise of the NPP to create jobs is to begin this year. At the dubar, the President was en-stooled the "Royal Warrior of James Town" and named Nii Kwaku Ablade Okugyeaman by the chiefs and people of James Town. President Akufo Addo was grateful for the honour done him, and promised to make Accra one of the cleanest cities in Africa. President Akufo-Addo traced his roots to Swalaba, a suburb of James Town in Accra, where he was born and raised as a young boy. No wonder he is married to Rebekah who is Ga. The President recalled his days in James Town where brisk business took place when the harbour was functioning. President Akufo Addo pledged to make Accra the cleanest city in Africa, and assured the people of making real his campaign promise of building a harbour in James Town.
