Interior Minister orders investigations into Coconut Grove fire 

Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, says swift investigations will be conducted into the fire incident that occurred at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel to clear all lingering doubts.

Part of the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra was yesterday (April 22), razed down by fire. 

The worst hit was the edifices housing ATV Network, the Gold Coast Fund Management and GN Bank all belonging to 2012 and 2016 PPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.

The fire which was reported to have started around 4:30 pm took firemen about 5 hours to bring under control. 

Speaking to GBC's Radio Ghana this morning, the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Mr. Billy Anaglatey said the fire team had to work until 3am this morning.  

He debunked assertions that the tenders went to the fire scene without water.
