National Teacher Education Curriculum Framework in the offing

A National Teacher Education Curriculum Framework is being developed for implementation.

This will ensure that teacher training institutions conform to the policies enshrined in the framework to produce competent teachers to contribute to the improvement in Ghana's educational system. 

Speaking at a stakeholders' forum on the draft framework, the National Programmes Manager of Transforming Teacher Education and Learning, Akwasi Addae Boahene said the outline will also allow teachers to deliver regardless of socio-cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
