Agric contribution to socio-economic development 60 years on

Agriculture, the main stay of Ghana's economy has received support from governments over the years.  But the support and interventions have however not yielded the desired results since the sector has suffered setbacks and the youth do not see agriculture as a business. Sixty years down the line, President Akufo-Addo has vowed to provide the basic infrastructure with a campaign promise of one-village-one-dam to give support to all year round farming. In this special report, Agyenim-Boateng Adjaye looks at the Agriculture sector since independence and the way forward.
