FIFA President Meet President Akufo-Addo



FIFA President Gianni Infantino arrived  in the country Monday on a day's working visit. 

He held discussions with President Akufo-Addo on the development of the sport in the country and other related issues.

The leader of  the world football’s governing body is in the country to further strengthen the ties between FIFA and Ghana.

The Ghana Football Association stated that  Infantino's visit marked an important milestone for football in Ghana as he shares his vision for the world's most popular sport with the country. 

FA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi said Mr. Infantino’s visit is unique because it gives key stakeholders the chance to exchange ideas with a sitting FIFA President to help shape the future of the game. 

He expressed the FA's delight at hosting the FIFA President in Ghana and was confident the visit would further accelerate the development of the game in the country.
