EU Observer Mission Praises Ghana for Free and Fair Elections


The European Union, (EU) Election Observer mission has applauded Ghana for conducting a Free and Fair election in 2016. 

Presenting the report in Accra in News conference in Accra, the head of the Mission Dr Tamas MesErics said they however observed with concerns pockets violence during and after election. 

He further added that the country should review the law of the president appointing commissioners to the EC. 

This he said will eliminate the suspicion and perception that commissioners own allegiance to a particular political party.
