Tamale Teaching Hospital: Police probe CEO over ‘forceful takeover’ 

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Public Relations Officer of the Tamale Teaching Hospital are being questioned by the police on the forceful takeover of the facility by  a group suspected to be affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP). 

The Kandahar Boys yesterday (Feb. 21), ceased the premises of the Tamale Teaching hospital and locked out the  CEO, Dr. Prosper  Akanbong, for allegedly mismanaging the facility.

According to our correspondent Mohammed Fugu, the young men are allegedly demanding the immediate dismissal of the CEO.
