COP Kofi Boakye Commends Asantehene For Support The Ashanti Regional Police Command COP Nathan Kofi Boakye has commended Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu for the support he enjoyed for the past three years under his stewardship as Regional Police Commander. According him, under his watch the administration has seen the needed security transformation and therefore commended various key stakeholders particularly the police personnel's including the media for their efforts been exhibiting in maintaining law and order despite all the manpower and logistical constraints. COP Kofi Boakye gave the commendation at the Send-Off Party and Officially handing over the security administration of the region to the new Regional Police Command, DCOP Ken Yeboah in Kumasi. Radio Ghana's reporter Razak Baba witnessed the ceremony and reports that the occasion brought together, chiefs, clergy, media, politicians, actors, civil society and high hireachy of the police administration. DCOP Ken Yeboah until his transfer was the Norther Regional Police Command who replaces COP Kofi Boakye who has also been assigned a new duty at the Police quarters in Accra as Director of Research and Planning. COP Kofi Boakye used the occasion to introduced the new Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Ken Yeboah to the residents and urged them to accord him with the same support, he enjoyed during his tenure to make him succeed. COP Kofi Boakye however, noted that, occasions like thispeople turn to apologise to people's, they might offended in one way or other but rather disclosed that he owes nobody apology since he has not offended anyone during his stewardship. DCOP Ken Yeboah assured the residents of continuation of good work of COP Kofi Boakye and urged the residents to support him to even do better than his predecessors. GBC
