Parliament 'okays' all 10 Regional Ministers-designate

Parliament has approved by consensus, the regional minister nominations of President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo. 

They are, Ishmael Ashitey, Greater Accra, Eric Boakye Darfour, Eastern, and Simon Osei Mensah, Ashanti. Others are Dr. Kweku Afriyie, Western, Dr. Archibald Letsa, Volta, and Alhassan Suleiman, Upper West. 

The rest are Rockson Bukari Upper East, Kweku Asoma Cheremeh, Brong Ahafo, Kwamena Duncan, Central and Salifu Sa-eed, Northern. 

The Chairman of the Appointments Committee, Joseph Osei-Owusu said the nominees proved they were cut for the job.

The ranking member on the Committee and Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu also commended the nominees for their preparedness to serve the country.
