14 KTI students treated and discharged after clash with police The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested and detained thirty five students of the Kumasi Technical Institute for causing harm and damage to state property. This was after the students clashed with the Police following disturbances that occurred during inter schools games. Fourteen students who were hospitalised have also been treated and discharged. Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Mohammed Tanko, told Radio Ghana that the police had no choice but to use tear gas to disperse the students as they had taken the law into their hands by blocking roads and damaging Police vehicles.
