15 Persons Feared Dead In Fatal Accident At Ewusiejoe near Agona Nkwanta

More than 15 persons are feared dead in an accident at Ewusiejoe near Agona Nkwanta in the Ahanta west District of the Western Region. 

The incident which occurred on Saturday February 11, 2017 around 3pm involved a mini stanbic bus from Takoradi and another Takoradi bound mini bus. 

According to eye witnesses the Stanbic bus loaded with mourners from a funereal in Takoradi somersaulted after a wrongful overtaking ramming into another mini bus with passengers that had parked on the shoulder of the road resulting in the fatality.
 
All the mourners in the Stanbic bus including the driver are feared dead with other serious casualties in the other bus. 

With the assistance of the Ghana Ambulance Service, the Police and Fire Service, all the dead and the injured have been sent to the Effia Nkwanta Regional hospital in Sekondi.
