Missing vehicles: Former Deputy Chief of Staff accuses gov’t of cheap politics Former Deputy chief of staff Johnny Osei Kofi has been reacting to queries by the Acting director of communications at the flagstaff House Eugene Arhin that 200 cars have gone missing at the Presidency. Mr. Osei Kofi described the claims by Mr. Eugene Arhin as baseless and without merit. He said the accusations represent a confirmation of the distortions and bad faith that have characterised the conduct of the NPP side of the transition team. He said as part of the transition process, a total of 641 vehicles were listed and properly accounted. In a statement signed in Accra, Mr. Johnny Osei Kofi said the vehicles were duly captured in the handing over notes. He added that Mr. Arhin's interventions are part of a grand scheme to demonise members of the previous administration. The statement asked government to provide specific details of the missing vehicles out of the list provided to the transition team. GBC
