Nima Divisional Police scores high in post-election self- assessment

The Nima Divisional Police command, says its post elections assessment has revealed that it has scored a 4.5 on a grading scale of 1 to 5. 
 
This was made known by the Divisional Commander, ACP Vance Gariba when his outfit organized a special post-election get-together to recognise the effort of its elections security task force and other stakeholders in ensuring peace before, during and after the polls last December. 
 
The event brought together political party representatives, representatives from the Fire Service, BNI, Local government, National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), media, as well as all the district commanders under the Nima Divisional Command. 
 
ACP Vance Gariba praised the media for their unbiased reportage and also called for continuous support from all key stakeholders, especially the political parties to ensure sustained security and also to adequately fight crime within the area. 
 
Speaking on behalf of the media, a senior editor of the Daily Guide newspaper, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Gomda, commended the Divisional Commander and his team for exhibiting high professionalism during the heat of the electioneering, especially regarding the incident that involved some mob activities in front the house of the then NPP Presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo. 
 
Participants were treated to lots of wining and dining with a lot more to talk and laugh about.
