Roads are not constructed to win votes – Minister
              
As the Political Campaign gathers momentum some, Communities in the country are clamouring for their roads to be constructed, otherwise they would not vote.
 
Critics also say some of the roads in the rural communities are being constructed in a rush, exposing shoddy work and raising questions of value for money.

But the Sector Minister Alhaji Inusah Fuseini told GBC’s George Ankrah that such allegations are not true because road construction goes through phases and Engineers are on site supervise the works.

Alhaji Fuseini also explains what government is doing in terms of due diligence in proper road construction.

On the terrible traffic on the Amasaman - Pokuase road as a result of the construction of the Interchange, Alhaji Fuseini said alternative roads have been provided and urged drivers to use these roads to ease traffic.
