GBC honoured for contributing to tourism development 

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has been honoured with a special award for its sterling contributions to the development of tourism in Ghana at the maiden Tourism Hall of Fame event. 

The corporation was presented with a certificate and a citation outlining its consistent partnership with institutions and professionals working in the tourism industry.

Accepting the award on behalf of GBC, the Assistant Head of the TV Licence Division of the Corporation, Felix Okai-Amankwah, said as a public broadcaster, GBC has the duty of promoting everything Ghanaian, with a special focus on the tourism industry and it will continue to do so.
