GII Cites Gov't For Abuse Of Incumbency, Opposition Accused Of Electoral Corruption The Programme Manager of Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), Mary Awelana Addah says the report by GII does not cite just the abuse of incumbency, but also cites instances of electoral corruption by the opposition. Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mrs Addah said the aim of the report is to provide a clear codified policy that guides campaigning by both incumbent and its competitors. A presidential staffer and National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary aspirant for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak however says it is unfortunate that the President in dispersing his responsibility in fulfilling policy proposals, has been cited for abuse of incumbency. He said no law prohibits the president from performing his official duty to the nation simply because he is a candidate. Please find attached the Report. GBC
