Inhaling secondhand smoke: Views on banning smoking in public places

Passive smoking or the inhaling of second hand smoke has been proved to be as dangerous as the act of smoking itself. 

This is because it causes serious illness such as lung and heart diseases and cancer. 

Smoking in public places exposes non-smokers to the dangerous effects of smoking. It also exposes children to the act since they learn the habit from adult smokers. 

Radio Ghana samples the views of a cross section of the public in Accra on whether smoking in public places should be banned or not.
