PNC appeals to EC to reconsider its position

The National Chairman of the PNC, Bernard Mornah says the party has made an appeal to the EC to reconsider its position on the disqualification of 
Dr. Edward Mahama. 

He told Radio Ghana that the party has not yet received any response from the Chairperson of the EC. Mr. Mornah however said if the decision on Dr. Mahama is not reversed, the party will go to court.

On whether the Police Service has withdrawn the police guards, Mr. Mornah said the PNC declined to accept police guards, therefore it is not in the position to say if they have been withdrawn or not.
