Samsung Galaxy note 7 banned from Senegal flights

Travellers using Senegal's International airport in the capital Dakar have been warned  not to take Galaxy Note 7 smartphones  on board. 

The warning comes after South Korean tech giant Samsung announced yesterday that it is permanently ceasing production of its high-end Galaxy Note 7 smartphones after reports that the device could catch fire. 

A  notice has been placed at vantage points at the airport to warn  travellers.
