EC's Deadline For Filing Fees Expires

Political parties that did not submit their filing fees to the Electoral Commission before the deadline today should count themselves out of the contest.  

The Electoral Commission, last week announced that Presidential and Parliamentary candidates must submit their fees by 12 noon today.  

The EC was unable to accept the filing on the submission day because of a court case initiated by the PPP on the 50 thousand and 10 thousand Ghana Cedis filling fees for Presidential and Parliamentary candidates.  

Meanwhile, the EC is holding a press conference to give more lights on the process.
