Mr Jackson, who was on a five day working visit to the Northern Region, spoke exclusively with our Correspondent Murtala Issah in Tamale. Mr Jackson said he has so far met with President John Mahama and the NPP flag bearer, Nana Akuffo Addo, and yet to meet with other presidential hopefuls. The US ambassador is optimistic that Ghana will pull off another successful election in December and expressed the commitment of the US government and a continued support to make the elections a success. Ambassador Jackson called on all political parties to desist from creating vigilante groups to intimidate the electorate.
