The Daily Graphic says it is time to scrutinize manifestoes. The paper says manifestoes in themselves, will not guarantee fulfilled promises, but the policy documents can go a long way to provide the basis  for the electorate to make informed choices and hold politicians accountable. The paper says it is unfortunate that with less than two months to this year's elections, most parties registered by the Electoral Commission are yet to release their manifesto for perusal by the public. The paper urges political parties yet to launch their manifesto to do so in good time to enable the electorate to make their clear choices.

The Ghanaian Times urges the Nation to take a cue from the success story of the female under 17 football team, affectionately called the Black Maidens. The Paper praises the Maidens for qualifying to the next stage of the competition. The Ghanaian Times says the team received very little publicity in their campaign for the qualification for this competition, and indeed not much was expected of it, even when it did qualify. The paper says great Nations are those who confront obstacles and challenges head-on, and persevere until they overcome. The paper says Ghana can therefore, do likewise and attain greatness, indeed, and regain the past glory, if as a people, Ghanaians resolve to work for progress.
