Assault case against Bukom Banku withdrawn

The hairdresser who lodged a case of assault against boxer, Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku has withdrawn it at an Accra District Court. 

The complainant, Martha Nelson told the court that Bukom Banku has apologised to her hence the decision to discontinue with the case. 

The Magistrate, Stephen Owusu has therefore acceded to the request by the complainant and disposed off the case. 

Mr. Owusu said the charges against Bukom Banku were misdemeanours and not aggravated. 

He said the court is enjoined to do reconciliation in situations where the charges are amenable. 

Bukom Banku was accused of slapping the hairdresser for refusing to kiss him. 

He also allegedly damaged her mobile phone.
