Driver Unions, BRT Management settle misunderstanding

The misunderstanding between the various driver unions and managers of the Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, has been settled. 

The driver unions became agitated because of fears that the new BRT buses which are disability and children friendly are going to affect the indigenous transport business. 

Speaking to the media after the first test ride on some of the designated routes, the Chief Executive Officer of the Accra Passenger Transport Service, Samson Gyamera said the new rapid transport service is to compliment the efforts of the existing transport business by providing quick service to people to get to work early.
