NADMO conducts impact assessment in Koforidua The National Disaster Management Organization NADMO, says it has concluded a disaster impact assessment in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua, after heavy rains left two people dead and several properties destroyed over the weekend. Two people were found dead in a taxi after being trapped in the flood. Eastern Regional Coordinator of NADMO, Ransford Owusu Boakye, and said about two thousand people were affected with some six hundreds of them considered most vulnerable. He said the NADMO team will be moving in this morning to assist the victims with relief items. GBC
