CLGA urged political parties to prioritise decentralisation in their manifestos. 

The Center for Local Governance Advocacy (CLGA) has urged political parties to prioritise decentralisation in their manifestos. 

A statement signed and issued by the acting Executive Director of the association , Dr. Vladimir Antwi Danso , said such decision would help enhance democracy and strengthen local participation in the country's development. 

While commending some political parties the NDC and NPP, for taking bold steps and setting the pace to incorporate local governance and decentralisation into their policies, CLGA urged other parties that are contesting the elections to  follow suit.
