EC finalises exercise on proxy voters

The  Electoral Commission says work on would-be proxy voters ends today. 

The Commission says the exercise has been very peaceful.  Also, the  Voter transfer exercise is  ongoing nationwide except in Asunafo South  District  where  some  arid youth destroyed  the  Biometric Verification  Device and other equipment  of the  EC.

Speaking  to Radio Ghana  the  Deputy PRO,  Yussif Alhassan Ayuba, said  so far 16 Presidential hopefuls and  seven  other individuals have  picked forms to file for the  Presidential contest.  

He  said  submission of  completed forms will  be  on  Thursday 29th September 2016.
