Nigeria's Buhari admits line plagiarised from Obama

Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari is said to have plagiarised quotes from US President Barack Obama in a speech promising change in his country. 

A statement from his office has however confirmed this.  

Mr Buhari made the address last week to launch a campaign titled "Change begins with me," which is part of his principle to end corruption in Nigeria.  

However, his office said a paragraph in the speech urging Nigerians not to fall back "on the same partisanship, pettiness and immaturity that have poisoned the country so long" was copied from President Obama's victory speech after his election in November 2008.
