GII launches report on corruption risk in forestry sector 

The Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) has launched its stakeholder perspective report on corruption risk in Ghana's REDD Plus policy, which seeks to halt land-use related emissions.

The study seeks to unravel the likelihood or potential of specific corrupt practises occurring in the forestry sector and the conditions that may influence potential outcomes.

The Executive Director of Ghana Integrity Initiative, Linda Ofori-Kwafo, said this will provide insightful indicators on barriers and risks that could hinder the implementation of REDD Plus within the wider context of forestry governance in the country.
