US pledges $3.8 million to improve Ghana’s power sector

The Ministry of Power and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have officially launched a programme known as the Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning (IRRP) project. 

Under the project, the US government has pledged to support Ghana with $3.8 million to improve on the sustainability and efficiency of the power sector in the country. 

The Deputy Minister for Power, Mr John Abu Jinapor and the U.S. Ambassador to Ghana, Robert P. Jackson expressed their commitment to improve power supply in Ghana.
