Mr Bongo criticized the European Union after questions were raised over his narrow victory. He also accused opposition leader Jean Ping of massive fraud. Yesterday, the EU questioned the legitimacy of the election results in Gabon on the 27th of last month. The Constitutional Court is expected to meet tomorrow to consider a challenge by Mr Ping.
