Arms Amnesty: 865 weapons tendered in so far 

About 865 weapons have been tendered in so far to be registered since the government announced an arms amnesty about two weeks ago.
 
The Minister for the Interior declared a 32 day weapons amnesty from the 22nd of last month to the 23rd of this month.

This is to give opportunity to people in possession of illicit weapons or guns with expired licenses to have them registered.
