Veep Kwesi Amissah-Arthur appeals for country’s  peace and stability          
              
The Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has called on Ghanaians to preserve the peace and stability of the country.
 
Addressing a gathering of chiefs of the Gonja Traditional Council in Damongo yesterday, Mr Amissah-Arthur observed that peace and stability form the foundation for economic and social development.

He therefore urged Ghanaians to conduct themselves in a manner that does not threaten the security of the State. 

Vice President Amissah Arthur described this year’s campaign for the election as a determination of the country’s great future and its priorities for the next four years.

He said this all important exercise requires peace and stability. 
This is because it is the foundation for the economic and social development of the country.

He said President Mahama believes in the peace and stability of the country and he is determined to protect it for accelerated development.
