92% of companies in Ghana are registered as Small Medium Enterprise

92 percent of companies in Ghana are registered as Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) contributing about 75 percent to the country's GDP. 

At an SME forum in Accra,  the Managing Director of  Ghana  Commercial  Bank, Mr Alfred Agbesi, said, the bank has the capacity to offer initial support to new  small and medium-scale enterprises to stand on the feet.
