NPP gov’t will give serious attention to agricultural mechanisation-Akufo -Addo The flag bearer of the NPP Nana Akufo-Addo says NPP government will give serious attention to agricultural mechanisation. He said the move is imperative because that will ensure food security and create jobs for the teeming unemployed youth. Nana add was addressing chiefs and elders of Lambussei traditional area at Lambussei add part of his three-day tour if the upper West region. Radio Ghana’s Upper West regional Correspondent, Sualah Abdul-Wahab reports that the visit of the NPP flag bearer will take him to towns such as Lambussei, Hamile, Nandom and Nadowli. The rest are Bulenga, Issa, Welembelle and Tumu. He will be selling to the electorate the message of change. At his first point of call at Lambussei, Nana Addo told the chiefs and his elders that Ghanaians are suffering because of mismanagement of the economy by the NDC government. The flag bearer of the NPP said there is therefore the need to vote the NPP into power to put things in order to bring relief to the people. He said the NPP government will adopt button-up approach of development to ensure creation of jobs for the youth. Nana Addo said his government will re-introduce nurses and teachers allowances which has been swapped by the current government if voted into office. The flag bearer and his entourage moved to Hamile and Nandom where they addressed party faithful and supporters. Some of the party big wigs who addressed the gathering are Kwodjo Alan Kyeremangten, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, Deputy Minority Leader Dominic Nitiwil and the party's national women Organiser Otiko Djaba.
