SADA signs agreement to implement development agenda

The Savannah Accelerated Development Authority, SADA, has entered into agreement with two leading Singaporean and Brazilian Planning and Development Agencies, Surbana Jurong and Queiroz Galvao to assist the Authority to implement its development agenda for the SADA Zone. 

According to the Chief Executive Officer of SADA, Charles Abugri, the two partners will among other things help the Authority to ride on the back of Agriculture to achieve a thriving and resilient middle income economy. 

He was speaking when the Management of SADA and a team from Surbana Jurong briefed members of the SADA Zone Parliamentary Caucus on the progress of work on the proposed strategic Master Plan for the North Savannah Ecological Zone in Parliament.

The meeting was part of efforts to keep the MPs informed about the new developments of the Zone.

Mr. Abugri said Surbana Jurong is developing a spatial concept plan, economic plan of the entire zone, and plan Tamale and Buipe while Queiroz Galvao is developing agriculture and agri-business plan.

He was briefing MPs from the SADA Zone on strategic master plan for the North Savannah Ecological Zone.
