Parliament urged to reconsider decision on election date 

A Lecturer at the Political Science Department at the University of Ghana, Dr Alidu Seidu says Parliament's decision to stamp out the November 7 amendment voting day needs to be re-examined.

According to him, a lot more time will be needed for another election, should the polls go to a runoff. 

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, he said the section of Parliament that advocated the amendment did not do enough lobbying.
