State Enterprises Commission plans major restructuring The State Enterprises Commission, (SEC) is to undergo massive restructuring to strengthen its regulatory function over State Owned Enterprises, SOEs. To this end, the Ministry of Finance is in talks with the World Bank to collaborate with SEC to give it a new face and standard in order to alleviate the challenges the Commission faces in performing its duties. This was announced by the Director of the Public Investment Division of the Ministry of Finance, Joseph Chognuru, at the signing of the 2016 Performance Contract between government and some State Owned Enterprises in Accra. He said by September, this year, government will begin the restructuring process, adding that this will go a long way to boost the performance of State owned organisations. GBC
