Police Service unhappy with media for misinterpreting IGP's social media comment The Ghana Police Service has expressed dissatisfaction about media reports on the IGP's comments on social media. The service says the IGP never stated that the Police intends banning social media on election day as being circulated in a cross-section of the media. The Director of Public Affairs, Superintendent Cephas Arthur told GBC’s George Asekere that the IGP gave several options to ensure an incident free election and only added that if all options fail, then the police could consider discussing how to resolve the problem.
