The Daily Graphic says a dialogue to discuss how the media could be strategically positioned to report responsibly to ensure free, fair and peaceful election is long overdue. The paper adds its voice to calls on media practitioners and media owners in the country to be wary of what they use their platforms to promote. The paper says although the Constitution guarantees free speech and freedom of the media, it is important for the media to be responsible in the way those freedoms are exercised. The Graphic says at all times, freedom of expression must be geared towards promoting progress, not destruction.

The Ghanaian Times sympathises with the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, CHASS for the efforts they have made to keep secondary schools running in spite of challenges facing them. The paper urges government to take steps to address their concerns before schools re-open. It also asks CHASS to continue to dialogue with the relevant agencies to get government to give them what they deserve. The Times hopes that government will respond swiftly to address the challenges facing CHASS in order to forestall any move by the heads of public senior high schools. 

The Daily Heritage for its part urges government to save its face by making funds available to avoid a needless disruption of the academic calendar.
