Journalists charged to report on realistic issues The Chairman of the National Media Commission, NMC, Kwesi Gyan Apenteng has urged Ghanaian journalists to ensure that their reportage reflect realistic issues on the ground. According to him, some reportage by the media does not paint a true picture of issues. In his view, journalists do not often report on human interest issues such as poverty and the plight of people in deprived areas, but focus on politics and issues in urban centers. Mr Apenteng said this when the GJA interacted with an Award Winning Journalist from Colombia, Patricia Lara in Accra. GBC
