National Road Safety Commission to become an Agency

The Ministry of Roads and Highways is to transform the National Road Safety Commission into an Agency with a mandate to demand compliance with road safety standards. 

A draft bill to this effect is ready for  Cabinet and parliament for approval. 

The Board Chairman of the National Road Safety Commission Yaw Boateng Gyan said this in a message to the mid-year review conference of the Commission in Wa.
