Three members of an armed robbery syndicate arrested by Upper West Regional Police Command The Upper West Regional Police Command has picked up three suspects who are alleged to be members of a syndicate behind major robberies in the Wa Municipality. Twenty-year-old Kofi Moses, Sixtus Bonye,19 and 25-year old Akwasi Gyan were arrested on July 2 after a tip off and subsequent surveillance by patrol police teams. The police retrieved stolen items ranging from motor bikes, desk-top computers and mobile phones after a search. The Deputy Regional Commander, ACP Sayibu Gariba told the media that the gang operated with machetes, cutlasses and other harmful ammunition to get their mission done. ACP Gariba assured the public that the suspects will be arraigned immediately before court. GBC
