Asantehene urges police to deal with election-related violence The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu has advised the Police Service not to discriminate against political parties and their allied groups' in the discharge of their duties especially during this year's electioneering. Rather personnel of the Service must be fair and operate within the confines of the law without any fear or material and monetary inducement in order to maintain public trust and respect. The Asantehene gave the advice at Manhyia palace in Kumasi, when the Inspector General of Police, Dr.John Kudalor called on him as part of a two-day tour of the Ashanti region. GBC
