Destitute children take over pavements in Accra

Some destitute children have virtually taken over the pavement, adjacent the Netherlands Embassy in Accra as their sleeping place.  

GBC’s Radio Ghana caught up with one of the children, David Adjepong, to find out what motivated him to sleep on the pavement. 

Meanwhile, the Director of Social Welfare Department, Benjamin Otoo says the Department will screen the children and trace their families to ensure that they are integrated with their parents.
