Both the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times write on the leakage of examination papers in this year's WASSCE. The Graphic says the recurrence of examination leakages is becoming a perennial thing.  It says time and again, WAEC gives the assurance that steps would be taken to address the situation but this has not been the case. The paper therefore finds it prudent, President Mahama's call for the BNI to take up the issue. This is because those found to have been involved in previous leaks were not dealt with to deter others. The Graphic says the credibility of certificates issued by WAEC is currently suffering because of these regular leakages. The paper calls for the right action to be taken to stamp out the culprits including parents, teachers and students who played roles in the leak. 

The Ghanaian Times for its part thinks WAEC has failed again in the wake of the fresh scandal. The Paper is worried about the fate of the youth who are the future leaders of the country. This is because if their education is toyed with, then the future of the country is in jeopardy. The Times challenges the education authorities to adopt measures necessary to stem the constant leakages which is tarnishing the image of the country abroad. The paper says the GES and Ministry of Education must do more saying WAEC has proved incapable of protecting the sanctity of the examinations. The Times suggests that the leadership of WAEC resign honourably.

The Daily Heritage says NPP's basis for the anti-EC demonstration is selfish. This is because there are more pertinent issues like the hikes in fuel prices and inflation as well as the slowdown in economic activities and weakened business and consumer confidence which they should champion. In the papers view, the demonstration is a clear indication that the NPP is only interested in their selfish interest for power and not that of the poor and marginalised.
